Pikeman Archive

Hey all,

I was a master CH and SL by choice, but I've fallen prey to the Holo craze. My first one being Master Artisan (hammered that out in a day and a half) and now I've gotten Pikeman. Funny thing is I'm enjoying the hell out of pikeman. Currently I'm getting buffed and going to Endor to hunt Bolle Bol Stompers. Being a MCH allows me to have pet backup if I run into trouble.

But I digress. What I'm looking for is advice on progression. I had the xp for the first two combat xp skills and I've taken defense to level 2 so far. Last night I had to choose a level one and took the first one stances as that at level two helps with the speed. But I really want to know is should I take Defense all the way to 4 before taking anything else that requires Polearm xp? I like the second skill like as it has the area affect, but not sure how important that is.

Currently at 1,0,2,2 and awaiting any advice you can give.

get stances 4. Faster speed = faster hits = shorter battles = more xp in less time = less time until your next holo .

heh... Thanks. I'm going to have a rough time deciding how to rebuild my char when I'm done. I love MCH to much to let it go and I've got high hopes that one day the Squad Leader will actually be a welcome almost needed addition to a party. However I do really like being a pikeman. There's a good chance I'll drop pistoleer for Pike, but it will be hard as I need the marksman combat xp line for SL.
