wookiees look the coolest, and in terms of HAM there the best, but... no armor sucks. Trando with regeneration is nice. Bottom line is pick whatever you think looks coolest.

Wookies without armor are not the best choice for a pikeman at all. Zabrak, Human, Trand are probably all the most common choices.

BOTHAN. bothan blow a big load. trust me, i'm a bothan pikeman and its the worst **edit** in the world. honestly. we have zero focus and willpower after we put on armor. its horrible. i'd have to go with zabrak or human, because their willpower can be migrated to be amazing.

lol any species can be good at any class. rodians have pretty low mind stats as well, i think it's 550 focus/500 willpower.but there are ways of getting around that like buffs (food/spice/musician) or not wearing armor. lol you could say that about a bothanplaying any proffession.

hmm...I'm a bothan, and I seem to do fine, armor or not. the past 4-5 boxes, I've been without armor, killing pretty much nothing but pikets.

I am a rodian Heavy swordsman / Pikeman and I am addicted to moun gold... seriously i have a problem lol i can't fight in armor without it (also some good food to boost my other stats) but i have to say i am a whilring dervish of destruction if i have good stims on me.
