Pikeman Archive

I decided to become a pikeman when I started this game but I got talked out of it cause all the master pikeman at the time told me that pikeman was a crappy profession that didn't do crap for pvp. Well I decided to go to another profession which was good at pvp but found out I hate pvp cause everyone is the exact same but different weapons. So I decided to go back to pikeman. I am working on polearms 4 and will get novice pretty soon after that thanks to the help of my friends. I wanted to find out a few things about being a pikeman.

For armor I got a full suit of ubese with 68% kinetic resistance is this good enough for mainly pve?

What is great damage for a weapon?

Is being a ch going to hurt or help me in pve?

I heard that a nightsisters lance is great for pikeman, where is it that I can get one and how many people should I bring with me?

Is there any advice you pikeman can give me to help me along with the profession?
