PS: So much about the short post… sorry Gunman
Well the above post was quite good. I think I'll try to simplify it a bit for people who don't like to read (you know who you are. You were just about to post a 'what/how do I' thread.)
What weapons to use?
- Speed sliced basic lance until novice pikeman.
- At novice pikeman use a SS basic lance for kinetic damage and a SS Vibro Lance for electric damage.
- At support 4, switch to a SS Long Vibro Axe for kinetic.
- At stances 4 switch to damage sliced weapons.
What skills to get first?
- Intermediate Defense to obtain sweep 1 (unless you are a master brawler and have lunge hit 2, in which case skip this step and go to the next one)
- Master stances (you need the speed and spin attacks are very useful)
- Master defenses (defenses are key to survival)
- Lastly master offenses (Area hits don't do as much damage as spin attacks so aren't as desireable)
What are the best moves?
- Intimidate to lessen opponents damage by 50%.
- KD move (sweep or lunge hit) followed by warcry and then damage hit (spin attack or leg hit depending on your preference)
- Area sweep and spin attacks for multiple mobs.
- Don't use polearm hit 3 after a KD. The mob will be forced to standing.
- Spin attack dizzies. Not a bad idea to dizzy then KD an NPC or PC. Doesn't do much to creatures though.
What armor to wear?
- 70-80% Advanced kinetic Ubese for most mobs.
- 80% kinetic 60-80% base Advanced Composite for PvP and fighting nightsisters.
- A stun layered set for fighting riflemen and those new geonosian stun pistols.
What to hunt?
- Pikets and quenkers on Dantooine.
- Baz nitches on Dathomir.
- Crimson Bluurgs on Endor.
What should I eat?
- BE enhanced brandy adds 400+ to mind/focus/willpower for up to 40 minutes and is only 49 filling. You can consume 2 of these at once.
- Canape adds 200+ to focus/willpower for approx.15 minutes, at 33 filling. 3 can be consumed at once.
- Muon gold does 500 to the mind/focus/willpower for 10 minutes, but when it leaves the body you will lose 500 for several minutes. Use with caution.
What are good stats on weapons?
- Long Vibro Axe - 4.5 speed 120-370 damage -30 range mods.
- Vibro Lance - 3.9 speed 95-295 damage -15 range mods.
- Basic Lance -4.7 speed 50-260 damage +7 range mods.
I'll post more when I can think of more. Those should do for now.
LVA 111-380 damage, 4.4 Spd, -18 Ideal Range, 77/65/33 costs
VL's 97-303 damage, 3.9 Spd+1 Ideal Range, 60/77/33 HAM costs

Try this one.
It's a little old, but I don't think anything has really changed aside from weapon accuracy (just add 20 to both the VL and LVA).
There are so many avenues for tree progression and things really switch up depending on the solo pikeman and the grouped pikeman.
Combat XP comes as it comes, you'll either have it stockpiled or you'll just whittle away at it. When group hunts are your primary form I would suggest getting a 404* as soon as possible. The area sweeps are a great form of crowd control, unless you have a few boxes into the accuracy line I would suggest using a VL or your more accurate Basic Lance to execute any and all state and KD moves. The speed will be of invaluble assistance to keep your DPS up to par with the others in your group, thus evening out the XP distribution as much as possible. NOTE: If you are fighting with another meele in group and you are not going up against the higher level mobs, it is a good idea to balance yourarea attacks with single target attacks on a mob OTHER than the one your comrade is attacking at that time. This way you can maintain a better aggro balance, and in the event of a TK or Swordsman you are not loosing XP with a lower DPS. If you are the only melee in group, the defensive line will be the most importaint place you can be. A couple of shots of brandy, with buffs or a medic, and you can chain Center Of Being at a near consistant rate. Keep hitting the area sweep if is your best area move at the time, as you will on occasion loose a mobs aggro due to a triggermans area attacks. Keep the mobs off your poor rifleman, melee attacks are going to be an issue for these guys in the near future, and they will love you for it.
Ohh, and if you are the only melee, and you receive a mind bleed or disease in the middle of a pitched fight, you WILL get hurt. Do your best to make sure any mind DoTs are taken care of as soon as possible, if you drop on an unhealable pool, that set of 5 mobs you were gleefully tanking will attempt to make lunch of your groupmates and all you can do is lie on your back and watch. Make sure if you have a medic that you keep him fully aware of the importance of this, and if you have medic yourself, keep an eye on it.
Envoy I'm not flaming you or anything brother, but you have to break your posts up.
That huge block of words is just too hard on the eyes and too hard to read. Post a few sentences then use a paragraph break.
Makes things so much easier.
One thing I've learned while doign Baz Nitch missions, regarding Moun down time:
Doc buff, and comp armor. I'm waiting for moun downer to end.
Got my min stats at 650 800 800 so when I go down I have 120-130 ish 1 and 1
I can still fight 1-3 (depending on creatures) while waiting to get over downer if I don't use specials.
It's risky and I always have a moun out of crate ready, but I can get exp while waiting. I just make sure I'm in a non-flooded with agro area. With a VL i just peck away at the mobs. i can usually get 2-4 while waiting, which is another 6 -12K
I go for Giant Baz nitches as so far they give the most exp and missions are around 10-11K per ungrouped.
