When I first took up Pikeman as a Holoprofession back in November I was shocked and disgusted at the attitude of the forum residents to people who came to "their" forum asking for advice on how to master Pikeman.
"Get off our forum you holochasing scum" was a typical response.
Fast forward several months and I finished hologrinding and unlocked my slot, however, despite hating Pikeman at first I have yet to drop it and am one of the top pvpers on Bloodfin.
I have a great reputation on Bloodfin, people come to me for advice on looted lances all the times, I even get e-mails from players on other servers who want my advice.
This forum is not exclusively for Pikeman, it is for everyone to get advice on any aspect of the Pikeman profession and that includes valuations and appraisals of NS lances.
So to all you non-pikemen, welcome to the Pikeman forum, not all of us are d1cks.
I will do all I can to make your stay here a pleasant one.
To all you so called pikemen who flame our guests, rest assured this one time holo-pikemen will kick your ass in pvp so bring it.

Trade/auction info should be completely resticted to the respective trade forum. The mods lock auction type threads on the galaxies forums all the time, and it should be no different here. None of the other professions tolerate that type of post (with the exception of crafters I assume, I mean they do sell stuff 
). Just because we are a small community doesn't mean we should get walked all over by people with lances, even if they are nice and do not realize how their thread contributes to the problem . The best way for someone to judge the value of their lance/attachment is to go to the galaxy trade forums and ask there. I can guarantee every server has at least 1 pikemen that would b willing to answer threads with questions. I do think some people here are overly harsh, and I think the best thing to do is to simply post a link to the weapons sticky thread, and to copy-paste a generic response about the quality of lances. Just my opinion.

Well this is my first day on the pikeman forum and this is the first time i have said it, I am going to go Pikeman because i have never tried it and i need a melee prof that is not overpowering like tk. So say hello to your new Master pistoleer/pikeman. btw any tips ? lol

hmm...cool then. I thought tkm's do way faster moves than pikeman (im probably right with that one) If that is right tkm's can pull some more damage than pikeman in the long run.

I started the crackdown on idiots posting trade/auctions, or, hows this looted pike threads here. Those post don't belong here anyone with half a brain can figure out why.
As for the hologrinders..you are wrong again dumbass...we welcomed them with open arms(aside from them buying up all the good Pike stuff)...we saw it as an oppertunity to get the word out on how bad we were and more voices for the Devs ears....
This IS my board along with all other Pikeman, I have no problems anwsering a question from an outsider(gun monkeys)..I do get annoyed when its a question that could be anwsered with a simple click on one of the many sticky threads at the top of the page.
So why dont you pack up and sod off, you are not welcome here
