Thread: Information on Defense caps

I asked a CSR about the defense caps and he told me that only dodge, counterattack and block were capped at 125, but food, drink and skill attatchments could bring them over this limit. So melee and ranged defense ARE NOT capped. yay

CSRs are often wrong or have no clue. I'll take Keldarin's word over a CSRs any day. From the Stratic Dev Chat:


[17:27] [Keldarin] In Publish 7 we added a cap for the Dodge, Counterattack, Block, Ranged Defense & Melee Defense skill mods.

[17:27] [Keldarin] These are all capped internally at 125. The UI will show a higher number, but nothing beyond 125 will count.

[17:28] [Keldarin] All other defensive modifiers are in full effect

I agree ... even if the Devs don't always know what they are talking about either ... Do I have to give a TH's quote??


I think the Melee/Ranged are capped too

yep to concur, just based on evidence of play, melee and ranged D have definetly been capped.

My guardian CSR told me ranged and melee was capped too The only thing that isnt capped is def v.s *state* (i.e stun, dizzy, blind, etc...) and combat equilibriem (can spell that word lol),

Capped at 125.... and then you can go up to 150 with +25 in attachments... and even 30 more ranged/meleewith a master squad leader leading your group (they give +30/30)

Well, I'm a TKM/MP/MB, and I faught, a TKM/MRM.


We could have stood there and traded blows for hours... neither of us could do a thing to damage one another....it was rediculous,....and we both just gave up... and quit...


If it is capped...it doesn't matter...
