Any Tips? Im thinking of droping Comando..it really isent great...i didnt know they had Nerfed it when i got it

I started Pikeman recently and I love it. The game had gotten boring for me grinding through the ranged stuff. Pikeman rules and I think it has some of the best animations!

Since you are starting out go for speed 
There are tons of threads here with tips for making the leveling much easier and funner

At the moment this is probably the best thing about Pikemen...

I have to say I love the AOE attacks for pikeman. It's got some issues, but I am enjoying the profession. It's not great in PVP, but at the same time everyone thinks it sucks at PVP so you can surprise people sometimes if you play smart. I really managed to piss off a Master Pistoleer last night who wasn't paying attention by killing him. People just don't expect to see a pikeman in PVP so if you're careful and smart they won't bother to prepare, ie buffing and the like, when the see you wander into town overt.
Oh, and yes you do need to be buffed to the gills and in good armor, but you can still compete in PVP.
