Its all about the weapons dude.

Take Mesk here, he has used his oodles and oodles of money hes made from buffing and bought the most righteous weapons on his server. Hes not uber talented or has an awesome template.

He just has an LVA that he probably paid 10mil for.

Thats all it takes to be the best. The most amount of credits.

very true, it's all about the weapons. But then, were you wearing Stun layered comp ? Fencer's stun batons are AP0, so even if you get a tiny % of stun resist on your armor, it will allready cut down their damage. Unless he had some baton made with some sick Acklay bone.
Anyway, it's all about the gear, kinda like for everquest

In that case it's all about the equipment, buffs, and food. I enjoy annoying the heck out of fencers and the like with my 37% stun armor. Drives them up the wall when they hit me for only 34 points with their best shot. I am a Doc as well, so I get myself buffed to the gills, my good packs hit for over 2500 in each stat, drunk on brandy, if you time it right you can have three brandies working at once, synthsteak, canapes, muon, are all your friends. Then you get some good weapons and go to town and annoy people. There is nothing I like more than taking a couple of fencers out in PVP, and to hear the shock of all the onlookers. I've said it before, but one of the pikeman's best weapons is everyone thinks we suck in PVP. So beef yourself and your equipment up, ie kill every nightsister on your server, sell the loot to make money to get the best equipment, then go and shock people in PVP. Akva is pretty much camped 24/7 so it will be tough to get the schematic and motors for the Energy Lance, but keep your eyes open one may turn up on your trade forum.

Legwand nailed it with TKM like accuracy.

I've taken down a master fencer...well kinda, a guildie. He took a bite off my action fire lance, I spammed leg hit...we incapped at the same time.

Legwand's hit the nail on the head.

A trained monkey with a few legendary weapons can beat anyone. No skill required.
