Pikeman Archive

I was out hunting on Endor the other day...of course I am a pikeman/Ch ... using a GSP...was with 3 others in the group. They had another GSP and one baby Graul...well as a melee I am expected to get in there and go toe to toe...I believe that is what Pikeman have to do...am I wrong. Well I learned the hardway once again...I forgot this isn't EQ (It reminds me so much of it) and I didn't have my 10 CLERICS chain healing me SOE...so of course I died because pets wouldn't hold argo...wasn't using any speicals just VL and LVA...to get in a few hits...but once I was up there...the chieftain pubma argos me and 3 hits later I am worm food. We sux...and no the players who have been pikeman from the start know what I am talking about...we have been through it all...we have adjusted our playing styles to match...but seriously...I feel like I needa pet Doctor to run around with me to heal me...but to be honest...I believe every prof.has to take Novice Medic...just to be on the safe sideand that is either in PvP or PvE...am I complaining no...not really because it has been going on for over a month...and we will wait to see whatpikeman gets in the next patch...will it be love or vasoline...hmmm...not sure but I am hoping there is no where to go but up guys/gals....we shall see...

I dunno what to say. I duo Endor all the time. I can tank 2 Pubem with little difficulty, but I do duo with a Master Doctor and that makes a big difference. I've also tanked 2 Gnarled Rancors. I had to my pet warped out of the cave. There are way for pets to maintain agro. They don't hold agro well but it can be done with some timing.
