While fighting at the Tusken Fort, I saw a swordsman, equipped with a powerhammer (?), hit for 9k damage. He was not a master, the Tusken was not prone, kneeling or otherwise occupied. Toe to toe fighting. I believe the hit was a special, scalp smash? Anyway 9k direct to the mind, ended that fight quickly.

Now I'm not calling a nerf on the swordsman, I mean use what you got, and I did rez him fairly often since he seems to get the crap kicked out of him as much as I do, but 9k? I have never hit for 9k, maybe on a great, great day, with the wind blowing just right, 3.5k. If the fella was prone, and looking somewhere else.

Also, do pikemen havea specific mind hit? Either we don't or I don't have it, but man...9k. He could do this mind hit fairly regularly, with awesome effect. 2-3 hits, most targets dead. As well they should be, with their heads caved in.

Just out of curiosity, what the heck is a swordsman doing with a hammer?

Any swordsman reading this, deep breath...I in no way wish any ills on your class...been there, got the scars.

tusken raiders are KNOWN for carring rifles. This being the case any hit he did would have been multiplied by 2.5.

This being the case his ACTUAL damage would have been more in the neighborhood of 4K....wich is a VERY strong hit. But pikeman do as well and unless he was CONSISTANTLY doing this i doubt you have anything to worry about.

I think people have a Luck-Shot they sometimes get.

I have done over 11K damage once and 10K another time, but i cannot reproduce it or even get close to it.

A big hit for me(prone people or people with a rifle) is usually in the nieghborhood of 5-7K

if i get a high end hit. so again, it is demeaning to stand there and see that big number come up, but i don't thik you have any thing to worry about.

actually the Tusken had a Gaffi Stick, but started with a Rifle. Does the multiplier still stay in effect if the target changes weapons in mid fight?
