Sorry guys but im thinking of goin Tk and im a pikeman (novice) somebody please tell me sumthin that should make me stay pikeman cause i love it but it is a hassle when everybody is better than u by soo much so just please help me thank you

TKA's have all the problems that pikeman do atm. Working on melee in general at the elite profession level is a real pain for everyone right now.

TKA is useful in combination with pikeman btw, don'tassume that you're limited toone. If you make room in your skill tree, you can combine several elite brawling professions to get the skill bonuses from them...not that they're very helpful atm, but they could be eventually (<== optimism attempt for the day)

Read the boards on TKA, Swordsman, Fencer. They do not have nearly the severity of problems that Pikeman have. Yes, we share some similarities, but there is no doubt they are much more content with their professions than Pike.

AE pwns for Pikeman. We make great PvE Tanks. I've tanked up to 8 Jinda at one time. Have done3 Arachnids and the list goes on. Now any Tank class should be able to do this too if the proper armor and buffs and stat food and spice for backup. Pikeman are no different.

What does make up different is our AE abilities. If my healer is in trouble I can AE stun and pullall the MoBs to me. Stun is a lot of agro. I can cut thru a lot more MoBs the my TK Master friends can due to the AE.

From what I see no other melee class can get agro control faster thern we can. From what I've seen we tank just fine but you have to have the levels, skill, armor and the right stat migration. You have to have a healer and a good one which includes buffs. If your in the top zones of the game you needs the best buffs available no exceptions.
