Thread: Pike questions...please help!
First, my V. lance is 2.9 speed and 95-295 damage....how is that? it was sliced for speed...and would you use it over my 4.1/113-320 v. lance?
second, can you perform polelunge1 while running?
third, when you get 0/0/4/0, do you have much better defense against status changes...or is it a blank enhancement you'll never benefit from?
forth, is polearm sweep2 awesome?
lastly, can we bleed...and what skill does it take?
thanks in advance!!
First, I'ld probably use the 2.9 v. lance over your 4.1. Just divide the damage by the delay to get how much damage per second each one does and choose the higher (and I'm pretty sure the first one would be higher).
Second, you can perform any move while running but unless you are standing like 2 or 3 m in front of them while running it will probably say you are out of range (don't know why).
Third, I think there is a small difference, though I don't know if it is enough to make that branch worth it.
Fourth, polearmsweep 2 was awesome, now it can come in handy but it only works once in a fight (and our area attacks don't always hit everything around you anyways).
polearmsweep 2 WOULD be awsome but it cannot now....
IF we are in a fight where we are in danger of loosing our lives....
lets say surrounded by 2 agros of resonable strength....
lets say you hit them both 1/4 chance....
and succesfully nock them down 4/5 the chance of that....
they will be on the ground about 2 seconds....
you will wait for your next move for 3-4 seconds becouse sweep 2 is SO slow...
you will do 300 damage to yourself hit OR miss......
and you are now surrounded by creatures pumbleing you and your low, low defense. no matter what you do after that....you are going down.
if they work on it they can easily make it worth it....but a one shot thing like that...not even good enuff to take up a hotkey.
if you use it twice you just wasted 6 seconds in wich you get pumbled by multiple creatures and did 600 damage to yourself....in the right circumstance i'm sure it has a use, but those circumstances are rare, too rare.
the answer will sadden you. ESPECIAL since you get your lovely speed and accuracy bonuses from 4/0/0/4.
But you will have your strengths and situations where you are better.
so good luck.
i am a 4/2/4/3 and I STILL can't make a TKA worry.
one day we will though, and that day you and i will be all leveled up.![]()
and darn good ones too!....but you will be dead before they feel the effects too much.
I used action hit one on a rebel pet(one of thir rodian slaves), i was surrounded by rebels and only interested in their pets becouse even if i could kill them nothing would come of it, but i wasn't getting more than one hit in at a time, so i decided to use the bleed. I hit him, got knocked out pretty much instantly.

thats the only time i have really ever used it, becouse i knew i was only gonna getr 1 hit in.
For me, actionhit is just kind of a way is the best way for me to kill a non-db creature. I make them bleed horribly and then after they incapacitate me (and they always do) they slowly bleed to death so hopefully by the time I wake back up, they are dead. Not a very encouraging way of doing battle, I'ld say.
