Now i will state first that i am a Master Rifleman, so i understand if it is not a dabbler profession. I have roughly 35 skill pts to spend.Becuase of requirments to my base killing team that is all i can spare.I can go 2-3-4-0 in the skill tree( that is not the order). I PVP quite a bit, and in PVE my rifle normally takes anything down before it gets to me. Since launch i always thought pikeman was a nice prof, but i heard it was tough. I say screw it, i think its cool
Any info would be greatly appreciated, and i understand any flames

I know sometimes people will go for our defence line in the skilltree, but that's about it.. I have yet to meet anyone who went for the areattack line

Pikeman is a dabbler profession in that we have to dabble to compete. I'd have to agree with ark, if you want pure utility, getting 4404 in TKA will give you 2x better defenses, KD+dizzy and the meditation line for self buffs, healing disease, poison, and bleeds.

If we loose what I fear we may loose to be stackable, I'm might go for the PikeMan/Doctor build... but until then, oh happy days, happy daaaays

the thing i rely on is def vs dizzy and kd, since dizzy/kd is what i would call gamebreaking

I don't think it is a dabbler profession because you need the higher level skill boxes just to make it a workable profession. I didn't see any advancement in my character until I got Advanced Stances and Advanced Support (Speed +15 and Accuracy +30). Without those two boxes it still feels like a starter profession ![]()

IMO it is nota dabbler profession. You can not truley understand the poweryou get as master. At least for me, afterI got master I was fighting a lot better. I could not believe it when I got a 2k+ hit over and over. I dunno, maybe it's just me.
