I have been playing pikeman now for about a month. The one problem I am having is how to set up my stats. Right now all my secondaries are set for 500-600. This is working good for me wearing my composite armor. I do not play PvP. I have seen other pikeman that load up their mind, and then just get buffed. Is that the best way to do it? I want to try to stay away from getting buffed all the time. Especially because I am just doing quenker missions to get xp.
Any help would be appreciated.

If HAM costs in PvE are causing a problem for you and you don't want to rely on being buffed, you can:
1. Get Advanced Ubese. You get 70%+ kinetic resists and much lower HAM costs. With 400/400/400 secondaries, you can put on a full set if only one or two pieces are encumbrance sliced. If you do a lot of faction missions or fight with things that primarily shoot at you, this might not be the best option as the rest of the resists are generally 15-25%.
2. Buy crates of food. You can buy food to buff your str/quick/focus for 30 minutes at a time, making your HAM costs almost zero while the food is active.
Doing both of these is best for pve, in my opinion. No reliance on doc buffs, no unnecessary armor encumbrance.

..also the ubese helmet is the ugliest thing in game, so might want to go without that part.. hey, if you want to look totally cool, get some Chitin biceps and have them trippled layered for some highend kinetic resistance. they look so totally supercool

Thanks for the help. So is it best to jack up all the secondaries?
