I asked the Dev's straight out if the Massassi Lance is in live. Here is what they said.

Dev's response - Yes it is a new weapon and it was put in test center on the blue frogs to see how it performed and if it worked correctly. However not all weapons on test center for the CU were put in live. The reason is that theywant tohave itreleased at a later time. (no explanation as to when or why) This was true for every profession and not just pikeman. I know this cause a rifleman asked the same question about a rifle that was supposed to be ingame that he played on test center. So there you have it folks on why none of us have found the Massassi lance in game. Oh yea they did say it worked correctly at least. I informed them that the Pikeman forum has asked about this numerous times.

So now we'll just have to wait patiently till they implement it into live. At least we have the Kashyyyk bladestick.
