My katarns hit for about 420 on fully armoured players while my vl 1k max 267 dps hits for 550 lowest...LOL This is funny being i payed 1k for the vl and 10mill for the katarns

DPS combines speed with damage. Of course if your just talking about max damage done... the weapon with the higher max damage will hit harder? When has this not been true? maybe you should learn your weapons better...


but for other reasons, yes, dps is worthless.

Lol i know but you hear all these people Who talk about they have a 271.34 scatter but with 700 max and i can out hit them.

Lets all just agree that base DPS has too far a range on its variables to be of much use.

I find the most important thing on a weapon is SAC (provided the dmg is decent too). Will allow you to do more damage over a period of time.
