A few things popped into my head today and wondered if anyone has tested or tried these.

CoB - If you are a master pikeman, and use Cob, then switch to another weapon (sword, gun, whatever) does your CoB duration still take effect based on your pike skills, or is it dependant on what you are holding. Bear in mind, Cob takes effect while you have a pike equipped.

Mount PvP - Has anyone used a mount to chase down a run & gun player during PvP duel? Or during faction fights? Just curious as to whether this would work. I know you can't special, but you could at least catch up.

CoB: If you start it with a pike equipped, then switch to some oterh weapon, the duration remains. Nice.

Mounted PvP: Not only do the mounts slow down during combat (cannot attack while galloping) but they are difficult to maneuver well and you have to be very close as you cannot do specials, making mounted combat very very difficult and generally not a good idea. It's even worse against players or NPCs.

my biggest gripe about mounted combat isn't no specials its no healing! You're out walking along /gallop wears of and BAM! killed by a voritor.

If that happens, you bail out and fight on foot or burstrun if you need to. The lack of specials limits our range and getting the range right on mounts is tricky, so it's not very easy - worse/impossible if the target moves around a lot. You have absolutely no advantages fighting while on a mount, only severe disadvantages.
