The first steps are to make big changes that are going to effect a lot of people. For instance, the next step in developing the combat system will address a lot of smaller issues. Things like Carbineer HAM costs and specials, Pikeman moves, Brawler melee combat challenges and things of that sort will all fit into place with combat. Then there is the issue of content and there has been a lot of work on this, but I can't talk about it at this time, though you can expect some really fun stuff in the vehicle patch like the vehicles themselves, the Night Sister Cave and some mission upgrades. Huff's quest has gotten some significant attention, the Bio Engineers have gotten some love and the list goes on.

Okay, we are mentioned but why not our HAM or Accuracy, our moves haven't seemed that bad imho, sure areaattack2 (best animation for a special) and spinattack2 are hardly differant but maybe he is talking about block /shrug at least we are mentioned lol.

I noticed that post too but focused on the wording in a different way myself ...

"Smaller Issues" That is where the Pikeman is mentioned. I'm probably reading too much into it or just taking it the wrong way, but I'm sure other people may have looked at it the same way too.

Personally, I read it as:
"We'll fix HAM and specials for Carbineers. Pikemen also complain that they're ignored, so I'll mention their name. But not knowing anything about what's wrong with them, I'll just say something generic about their 'moves.'"

I would have loved to see "Things like Carbineer and Pikeman HAM and specials," but there are more carbineers so their issues are better known and will almost certainly be addressed more quickly.

Of course, TH is just the messenger. I'm fine with him not understanding the details as long as the dev fixing them does.

Yeah, when I saw that, I wanted to post that our HAM costs are just as bad or worse than carbineer's, but decided against it. Remember, he played a carbineer for a weekend and mentioned their HAM costs were bad. Until he plays a pikeman, we can say all we want and it won't make a difference.
Don't know what this talk about our "moves" is...Don't remember anything really about "moves" being in our top 5 list.

The most mind boggling aspect of all this is Thunderheart is a Master Brawler. How as a master brawler can the man have nothing to say about the horrible pikeman accuracy.

simple, he never tried pikeman past that. sure if used an LVA and never felt it then something is wrong but you can do the brawler line with a lance.

someone should ask him why Holo inquired why pistoleer were so popular but no one ever asked why Pikemen are so unpopular.
