Some background - am Rodian and I have a set of composite (74%energy, elec. 62%base) and Ubese 74% Kinetic that I always equip for creatures. However I am curious as to what the other Master Pikemen where in Pvp. I have the capability of adding the cap (+25) in mods for accuracy, damage, speed, and +18 Evasion but I was looking for some feedback as to which suit of armor to put them on. I have found that composite armor makes it almost impossible to use too many specials. I am not a fan of faction pets or pets in general but will have to go that route if thats my only option. As far as pvp is concerned, I try my best to avoid ranged opponents and during raids or group attacks I am the guy who goes after the TKM and melee classes. So common sense would say teh Ubese armor, However Ive also got ranged opponents shooting at me. So whatre the master pikemen out there wearing during pvp and whats your reasoning? thank ya!

My advice - don't use it in the Ubese. It decays way way faster, has limited diffenses as well. Composite will last a lot longer, has more pieces (for more sockets), and will offer better overall protection. I just had a custom set of PvP layered 4 socketed composite armor for all my armor attachments, you might want to do the same. It's well worth it.

For pvp i wear a composite helm 69% base with 36% stun sliced for encum, 85% comp gloves for the sockets and a 84% chest plate. I thought for awhile a shield would be useful but u can't wear a belt with it, and in pvp the shield does nothing that i can tell so I going to the belt.

oh and even naked as a zabrak i can barely do the pike specials without buffs.
