For the first time last night I had block work. This was not a one time thing either. I was at the Night Sister slave camp fighting Senturys and Intiates and I swear that I must have blocked 1/4 of the shots that they delt me. I'm only a Novice Pikesman 0/0/1/1 so my block is something like +24 (not that high). Has anyone else noticed block working more often now that Patch 6 is here.

Yes. Block has always "worked", like that link says. The problem (hopefully, maybe it's working as intended) is that it allows 50% damage to pass through the block, unlike counterattack and dodge that avoid 100% of the damage.

Yea but I never had even seen a block until last night, the first time I played with Patch 6. It was great I took less damage from Night Sisters than I do from a Huuron.

so... is it REALY working? or still letting half the damage through? still.. i woul be happy just to see +Block+ pop up over my head

yes you did, just before it said you counter-attacked instead of blocked.
