currently i am a Master heavy swordsman and a fencer. I was wondering if pikeman is any good with MHS? I think I will drop fencer. plz help me out.. I am into pve alot. I am a solo hunter of krayts and Ns elders and **edit**, so I think that being able to loot my own weaopns would be cool. I am into pvp a little bit too, and I dont know how pikey's are in it. plz help me out.. tahnks

Patience, things don't move that fast on the pikeman forums.
Pikeman is pretty good for PvE, but swordsman is better. What you'll lose going from fencer to pikeman would be a lot of defense and the blind state attacks. You'd get the ability to stun as well as single-target and area knockdowns. I believe our dizzy may also stick a bit better than swordsmen's.
Pikeman would be good if you want a profession to switch between in PvE when you're tired of swordsman attacks, if you're going to be doing most of your fighting as a swordsman though you're better off with fencer for the defenses.

well, I am NOT going to drop swordsman, I love it way too much. I dont think fencer is for me though, even though i went from novice brawler to 0101 fencer in 30 minutes. haha. I am obsessed with doing ALOT of damage, and that is why I am a MHS. my friend picked up pikeman and he seems to be having tons of fun with it.
thanks for the answers, and I would gladely appreciate more. some of the questions I would liked answere are .....
1) is pikeman good at tanking?
2) Can I solo HUGE mobs?
3) does pikeman have a good dizzy/kd attack?
4) does it have a certain HAM hit??? (head hit, health hit, action hit)

if u can get a pike likei have u will love pikeman
124 min damage 200 max (damage sux)
5.4 speed
DOT
health fire
247 strength
4 mins long (last time i used it in pvp it gave the guy 1500 health wounds)
85% potency
its ace!

one more question for you Pikey's.
Are there any good weapons without DOT's?? if so, waht are there stats?? I am really new to pikes.
