I'm just wondering. I've been playing SWG for almost a year now off and on. I see people everyday say "omg grinding sucks, man I have the best this and that, man i'm capped out so Imbetter than you" Why is it that people constantly grind and strive to be the best when once your the best there is nothing but the same thing over and over again wich makes whatever your doing dull? Why strive to be the best when you can be good and except challenges instead of alwase owning someone or something? Why don't people role play anymore IN A ROLE PLAY GAME? Your the ones that get people (your friends, guildmates) to become masters asap and then they get bored and quit. I am now going to separate myself from you people and find more that like the role play of Star Wars and play the game to enjoy it and to enjoy a challenge instead of being the best. I want to get some feedback on this from both people like me and grinders to see what everyone thinks. Thank you for your time.

Well, I would say it's the sense of achievement at reaching a goal that makes someone strive to excel and ultimately master their profession. Sure, you can be good at a certain level in an occupation in this game. However, I would feelI am cheating myself if I don't realize my profession to it's fullest potential. I don't care about bragging rights, or duelng records. I don't even PvP. However, I want to experience EVERYTHING a profession has to offer.

To each their own. I've metpeople who have been playing since launch and have yet to master a profession, but they still enjoy the game. I just want to see everything my respectivefields of interest(in this case, Rifleman, Pikeman, Creature Handler)are capable of. That way, I don't have that nagging "what if" scenario in the back of my mind. That's just me.
