so, i decide i would like to go pvp'ing with my new 300stregnth mind fire pike to test it out. well i get my buffs to both mind and health and go to the cantina and go overt. Right when i step out of the cantina i see a dark jedi knight running around outside and i decide it would be a good thing to test the fire on. i put on my psg since i hear these reduce the ls damage a bit and eat some synsteak. i intimidate him and try to knock him down and even with the synsteak+intimidate+ the psg he was hitting me over 500damage a second! I play this game to pvp and the way its turning out i will soon be cancelling. everyday i see 2overt jedi at coronet, atleast 5overt jedi at threed and a few at bestine and at other random places. it seems the only way to compete in pvp is now to get yourself a jedi.
back to the story. the fight lasted maybe 10 seconds before another jedi came and started to whail on me a couple seconds later im dead. I know people say defence stackers can go hand to hand the whole duel with jedi but maybe a low level jedi.
im also tkm/fencer/pikeman and i think thats stacking enough.

they wouldhave to be using expoloited saber to hit you for 500 if you had a pike equipped (toughness) a PSG with 40% LS and Synsteak with 40% reduction. Aint no way that 500 damage is possible.

If it was with a polearm saber gen 4 the best min damage would be around 430 and best max damage would be around 500.
If you had a PSG, melee mit 3, a pike equipped and eatn synsteak there aint no way 500 damage is possible to you. Hence why you should report it.

hmmm intimidate + mindefire + sweep attack = dead masses of jedi odd i ealy dont know how you screwed up usually jedi i fight burn while i keep em on the ground

Not sur ehow you where fighting, but pikeman, is one of th eBEST profs to fight a Jedi with, they have no melee mitigation, so our 800, 900, 1000+ damage pikes, do alot of hurting on them. Your PSG, needs to be takign right from the crate you got it from and put on immeditally or, th eLKS resist will go away once you log off or when the server reset hits. As long as you are capped have decent buffs, and do nto wear your armor VS a Jedi, the fight shoudl be good, and you shoudl stand a decent chance, I know I do.

Exploiting Jedi? Whatever next....yet another reason why I can't be arsed to pvp.
Ever tried chucking a couple of very high damage grenades (proton or thermal detonators or whatever) at Jedi?
I know that rolling mouse droid ombs are quite effective, but never seen any mention of someone taking them down with the help of top notch thrown weapons.

i fight jedi all the time but this was really the one i had a problem with since i can usually take some of the damage they dish out.
just a couple of days ago i was using sweep attack at our base when it was about to blow and made atleast 5 jedi go running hehe

Exploited saber...unless...he cured intimidate, your PSG was not just taken from a crate that same login, you didnt calculate the sythsteak numbers in. (was this 500 over you head or in combat window?)
The good jedi arevery toughnow, especially if they are fresh and ready...its anight and day difference. on foods, full force etc. one on one.
