Thread: Pikeman Broke Issue[Melee Migiration]

Hello I was lookin at the pikeman issues and I saw that it said that pikeman toughness is not a high. Well I just to submit to you guys that I don't think it is the toughness of pikeman I think melee migiration 3 simple doesn't work for pikeman unless you have another melee migiration3 profession. I think somone needs to look at that , I was doing test with my Jedi against all melee professoin and pikeman takes twices as damage as a TK, Fencer, or Swordman.


What do you guys think?

Try it out see if I am missing something.

it works with me but its our toughness thaT MAKES us take more damage.

Pike has the second worst Toughness in the game.

TKM > Sword > Pike > Fencer.

However Fencer is by far a lot stronger than on the list - as this is just toughness, and does not include Fencer's insane dodge ability.
Melee Mitigation works for all professions as far as I know.

I can vouch for a fact that its toughness from my experience in mastering all the melee profs, fighting unarmored in all the melee profs, and from fighting high level mobs, player jedi, and other player duels.

Actually, fencer does have a little more toughness than we do:

TKM = 57
Sword = 43
Fencer = 32
Pike = 26

(add 5 to each w/ master brawler)

Where we also get hurt is block's utter crappyness when compared to both dodge and counterattack.

Mitigation was a complete and utter disaster.

Yeh, Mitigation is probably the wors thing they added, but remember when they did it PvP was like 3-4 seconds long,


maybe they just need to take it out...............

Overall pikeman get the short end of the stick which is sad.

-lowest toughness
-block does not prevent damage like counterattack and doge
-mitigation hurts our weapons more then any other melee profession due to the huge gap between min an max damage.
-polearm evasion and damage tapes are broken

Any evasion and damage mods are broken with the exception of unarmed damage.

Actually, fencer does have a little more toughness than we do:

I stand corrected

In general, the Secondary defence stats are a mess. Block is rather dodgy, and TK's DA is hardly effective. If I remember correctly, Im sure Unarmed Damage tapes don't work - so that would be all damage tapes being useless.

Actualy unarmed damage does work. If i'm correct all the damage mods would work but all damage skill mods except for tk were removed from the game.
