had a coupel questions, 1 is does the skills from 2handed sword have any effect on polearms? because a polearm is also a 2hand wep.
second question, is there a cap on melee and ranged defence?

Dodge works on when holding a pistol or a Fencer weapon
Counterattack only works when holding a carbine or a 2-hand sword
Block only works when holding a pike or a Rifle..........

as pikeman you want to stack block if you're going to be using a polearm and besides that melee, ranged, kd, dizzy, blind, ect, ect... blah blah blah.... defense

2-handed swords have absolute no relation or any effect with polearms in any way.
I believe the hard cap for melee/ranged defense is 125. Foods can bring you over this cap.

what about dodge? would that be worth going into some proff. to build up my dodge modifier?
