Hi pikeman folk.

I've recently picked up pikeman (noviced last night), after spending quite a couple months as a swordsman.

So how do pikemen do Pve-wise? I know Nightsisters are out of the question, but how about Krayts and such?

I've allready got a 1031 damage LVA for once I master, so how would i fare with it?

you should fare very well with it, currently i use a 630, 740 with p'up and I do fairly good with it. . . .

and who said NS are out of the question. . . . .now u can go running into a melee with a pack of 7 Sentinels like i watch MS do on my server, you get to find a spawn and pull them 1 at a time, and 2 if u are me and get lucky and kill them

no elders or arch witches tho'

as for other stuff, we do pretty well, i havent been to the Geo caves in forever, but from what i hear a 1k pike shreds the acklay.................

Protectors also have 25% resist to kinetic...

if you get speedcapped it will rock vs smc and nc except elders and queen and if u ever decided to use it in pvp it would do high dam to jedi but low dam to any 1 wearing armour

If you realy wanted to kill elders with pikeman get a NSEL and use that, its energy and does a pretty good amount of dmg... but then again, i dont run out and use a 4mil creditweapon everyday....

NS are definitely not out of the question. They have Kinetic resists as their lowest value, except for elders and protectors. NS are pikeman fodder for the most part.

I was actually talking about the Elders, as a swordie they were my primary target.

with a 1k pike url take out all ns with ease,for the elder like kino says use a nsel but the last 1 i soloed with 1 took me 50 mins ,witch realy isnt worth it!

No indeed, guess I'll stick to the other Nightsissies then.

I actually took pikey cause I'm planning on getting into some dwb runs in the future, and a swordie isn't really usefull down there.

Besides the pikeman animations are way cooler.
