Hi, I'm a CH (almost MCH) and I'm using Carbines. But I know carbines are really the worst Elite profession there is. Case in point, fighting Rancors with guild and couldn't do much of any good with my weapons. So, now I'm deciding to either to go TKM or Pikeman. I'm leaning alot more towards Pikeman but what I would like is to hear from you guys about what you think about Pikeman. How do you think Pikeman fairs in PvE and all that. I'm on the Radiant server so if anyone knows of any good Pikeman weapon shops I'd like to have an idea of where to go to get some great weapons if I do decide Pikeman. Or in my case, Pikewoman

Pikeman rocks in PvE. Smacking around rancors is a little hobby of mine, I like to do it alone and when I needto go cool off or just need a great big laugh.
Our area attacks are devestating and knocking down 3 or 4 rancors (or even a single giant dune kimo) is an awesome sight. I love being a pikeman, I love the look and grace of our attacks. Pikeman, in my opinion, is probably the best PvE melee profession in the game. Tearing through multiple opponets with a few attacks is our biggest perk. With a well crafted LVA and VL, you should be able to handle almost anything the game throws at you.
As for a good shop to get weapons (insert shameless plug here, lol), Ragcek Freedark of DbK makes some really great and inexpensive pikes. I use them extensively now, and I've even had a few custom lances made to suit different situations. If you need a wp to the shop, shoot me a tell or email ingame (Ikovoo)and I'll sendit right away when I get home. If you need anything (weapons, hunting partner, training, whatever), please feel free to ask me.

AP2 (pikeman) > AP1 (TKM)

get yourself a nice looted one. . . .
currently im using a 630 max with 2.5 speed - for PvE it works great. . .
for PvP dots are essential...............
