I am wondering if you get +100 in total would you be imuun to fire?

it would cap at +25

if it didnt cap, and you could get up to 100, you would probably be immune

Highly doubt that... it comes down to potency. If 100 would make you immune... then why aren't people immune to poison/disease resist? Normally people get 180 from doctor buffs...
