I reakky dont know, i just dont understand, each time someone sees me with my nov pikaman title, they stast saying "u doing this for holo" "wow man what a bad choice", hell no, i am just 1-1-2-1and i could block 6 savage tuskens with no prob (later i died anyway), they should learn about the real power of the pike, we miss, yes, we are slow, hell yeah, but when we hit you are domned, as easy as that, a good sweep and polearm hit 3 and u are done...

Block only prevents some damage not all.
Accuracy.
HAM costs.
Lack of Class Definition.

those reasons are the main problems. Yes we are a fun class and have benefits but compared to the other melee we are majorly borked. We do not take the cake on any catergory

Speed: TKA
DMG: Swordsman
Defense: Fencer
(Although really TKA is the best at all lol)

A TKA with 3 boxes, thats it just 3, beat me as a master Pikeman on 2 tat sunburns.

PvE isn't that bad, and especially in Ft Tusken we shine but we are very lacking to say the least.

ok, we have a few issues, but...

I am a master pikeman, and a master TKA. When I go into a room, filled to the rafters with bad guys, it the LVA that comes out. Hit CoB, and start swinging. With a little luck and a few well timed stims, I am the one left standing.

However, if there are one or two uber bad guys left after my polearm fury, then generaly the LVA goes away, and I finish them unarmed. The biggest reaseon is the HAM costs. After a lengthy battle, I am usually running on empty, otherwise its pike to the end. If I am buffed, then watch out. Buffs affect the mind in that it makes you do dumb things, like run into the middle of a huge fray. There is something about a LVA that makes all bad guys want to hit you.

So yes, we have issues, but when many people enter the battle, a pikeman is likely to be one of the last standing. (not running away, shooting over his shoulder...grumble)
