Cibila
Despite everyone telling me they couldnt hit an elephant two feet in fornt of them in a narrow hall, i drope teras kasi master and decided to go for a challenge and become a pikeman. With the next monthly update basing itself on class balancing things will get better, but fo rthe moment im in for a long ride. Anyone have suggestions on what to hunt and weather or not to use special moves, or jsut berserk it?
Also I notice song advanced long Vibro axes do mroe damage and nearly as much speed as Vibro lances. which are better to use?

I agree. You'll have less grief if youve got at least some added polearm accuracy, so Id maybe even wait until you get some accuracy before using the LVA. Personally i had lots of success hunting Giant Baz Nitches when I had stances and defensive done, which proved to be about 5k xp per monster, and they were pretty easy. I'm trying to think of what i hunted before i even hit Novice Pikeman, but i honestly dont remember
, I've been off and on playing the game over the last couple months and just started playing again, hopefully for good. I would of recommened you keep at least defensive and or meditation for Teras Kasi, would help out. A lot of Pikeman have to get Creature Handler, Master Brawler (for things like warcry2), etc.
Hope that helps, I don't post here often, but I always check it out ![]()

The LVA is the biggest weapon, even though it's not the one you get certified for last. It's just a cruel joke, though - the -50 accuracy penalty will have you in tears before novice, and even then you'll hate the **edit** thing until you get the second combat XP box. The VL is only -30 accuracy, still sucks, but not as much.
The other advantage that the VL has is that it does electrical damage, which fewer things are resistant to. But there are some things that are 100% resistant to electrical, so make a habit of checking when you meet a new critter.
