Pikeman Archive

I started as pikeman but have been concentrating on merchant for a long time and just taking the levels as they slowly come. I'm about 11 K away from 350 K and my first row 3 skill and I wanted to ask some of the senior pikes which one I should grab first. I'm currently leaning toward the multiple knockdown and blocking bonus one. Thanks for your input. xios

personallyi am only a pike 0-0-2-2.....though my plans are to get all the defense mods first. seems like a good plan to me esp with damage mitigation here now.

get stances because we miss so **edit** much we need the speed...

I would work my way up the Def. line, then the Stances line adding the boxes from Support as you get them...The Off. Tech. Line offers no bonuses, just new moves, so I'd save that one for last...

Also, if you haven't done it already, make friends with a Master Doc and go to Dantooine and do Huurton Huntress missions while buffed...great xp.

I'm new to it also, but I'm currently working stances... I really want the additional speed. I try to let my pets take as much of the damage as possible... If I wasn't a master ch though, I I'd be working the defensive branch (branch 3).

Okay this is just me but I went for defenses first to nab the sweep, and thenI ran right up the stances branch for the speed. After that went back to master defenses. Then after I was 4043 did I finally succumb to going up the much unneeded offense branch (do you really need area attacks if you cant hit anything). Of course getting my support as it came (support 4 came about 2 hours after offenses 4 for me).
