He is currently on vacation for the holidays but he's doing a great job so far.

Hiya, I'm the current Pikeman Correspondent.

It's true that I'm on holiday break but I have thus far been lucky and been able to spend at least a little time each day going over the boards and making sure that the devs are reminded daily that Pikeman want some fixes

Hopefully once I'm able to get the satellite connection going next week I'll have more time to spend on the boards

No one plays pike as it is horrible compared to other professions, no equity.

Is that why they are looking for a correspondent? They just want to say, "Hey boss, we have all the slots filled, even though we dont listen to the Pikeman correspondent. Dont have time to deal with a profession that 5 ppl play."

Well, if that is the case just scratch the profession, its not that hard and the 5 ppl who play will be upset but the remain thousands wont. You can add a support branch like marksman to the brawler profession to fill the gap. All the master Brawlers would love that.
