Right now Im a master Rifleman. I can solo (albeit veryslowly) just about anything in the game. And Im bored. I want a challenge, and from what I hear pike is the least favoured melee profession. I havea few questions.....

1. Do I absloutely need master brawler?

2. How hard of a time do you guys have solo'ing mobs?

3. How big of a problem is kiting for you in pvp?

4. Any suggestions for a newb pikeman?

1) Do you want to be capable of keeping enemies out of the fight? Master Brawler gives us some VERY nice debuff abilities...

2) Depends on what MOBs. Might become a LOT harder once our DOTs no longer stack...

3) Me, not a problem. I have Smuggler in my build, though, so I just use a ranged KD on anyone who tries to kite me...

4) Get a good lance(s) which is experimented for accuracy and whatever is left for speed, sliced for speed. Go up the rightmost line first, speed line in parallel. Get buffed and armored, because you're in for a future of flailing around without hitting anything for a while to come. Don't fight any animals that deathblow.

1) no, i dont have it and do fine.

2) I'm pretty darn good in pve

3) kiting kills me

4) keep at it, pike sucks at first but gets much much better.

shoot yourself in the foot. it will be far less aggrevation.

but pikeman is alot more fun.

Swing your rifle at your next target... you probably have a better chance at hitting and doing significant damage!
