I won't go into a rant about how broken our profession is,the fact is, it isn't broken- It's unbalanced. We have noclear purpose and no IDENTITY. There is nothing that sets pikemen apart from the other classes; we aren't damage dealers, we aren't masters of defense, or of crowd control. We aren't faster than anyone and we don't have any special, class only, abilities. We have been waiting since LAUNCH for some tidbit from the devs to show us that they are really aware of this and that they are doing anything to correct this. We have asked repeatedly for some attention, some "love" from the devs to let us know that they know we are out here and that we want more. Thunderheart said "I had absolutely NOTHING to do with the placement of "P" in the alphabet". So, now Smugglers are getting some added content, some purpose. Last I checked, P came before S in the alphabet.

So what happened? We have been told time and time again, "we are working on it", "we will let you know". I dont know about any of you guys, but I am getting very tired of waiting. I don't know how much patience I am expected to have. Our last ray of hope was thrown out the window- "Wait for the Combat Pass" which was billed to be the Holy Grail for all melee and Pikemen in particular. (Since all of our long neglected attention was going to come with the patch.) Now, no combat pass. No fixes for pikemen or added class definition. We will continue to receive our attention with everyone else, or not at all, depending upon your point of view. We have to wait for our publish I guess. I just want to know one thing, which one?

you think pikeman has issues try dancer. we cant even self buff although asking for the ability to self buff over and over again we still cant and they finally do some dancer stuff and what do we get a droid with smoke effects. my friends have told me i must be a closet case masicist for doing both dancer and pikeman and if thats not bad enough i threw politition into the mix.
