We look at the stats, we have some of the lowest toughness, lowest defenses, lowest DPS.
Yet we are one of the best Tanks in the game.
If you ask any competent, intelligent, hardcore player, which we would rather have as a tank at the Corvette, 5 TKM, or 3 Pikemasters, he will opt for the Pikemen, for whatever reason, we make better tanks.
Ive been looking at the numbers, the In-depth analasys, and cant figure it out. On paper we suck, but in PvE, and even in PvP with the right complementary skills, we are great.
Im beggining to wonder if Pikeman toughness gives more defenses then the other toughnesses?
Maybe 60 unarmed toughness is equivilant to 30 pikeman toughness?
has anyone done any tests with this to see if im right, or perhaps just an idiot?

+ its a good idea to have us at corvette cause we do Electricity damage adn the sts only have like 10% resist to it if you get far enough.

Its becauseTKA CoB doesn't work. Well, actually, CoB works, it is Defensive Accuity that doesn't. And since CoB for TKA makes DA fire more often...well it is 0x0=0 for TKA =/
So, pike users will tank as good or better than a TKA at master in many PvE situations, but, on the occassions you do get a fully force hit, TKA will absorb the damage better than Pike users will.
Anyway, the devs know it is broken, even the CSRs will tell you it is broken if you ask. My guess is they aren't touching it until the combat balance because, as things stand right now, if we TKAs could CoB on top of our existing defenses, it would create an even worse balance issue.
