ok guys, im having a little bit of a dliema

im a tkm / pikemen and 4000 doc, and when my guild pvps or does base take downs,i find it hard to find a niche in the group


what is my role? i can't tank, b/c i don't do the most damage, and i cna't crowd control, aside from area kd

Tanking isn't about doing damage, it's about taking damage. You're role in base takedowns is to protect the slicers. Grab aggro from any npcs that are attacking/might attack the slicers, and beat on them until the rest of the group gets on it as well. Continue as needed

We're a little different in that I have swordsman stuff to back me up (AB and Area Taunt are nice), but overall, it's the same role. You're not a slicer, then you protect the slicers.

we are crowd control, use your Taunt Bonus of TK and along with you Area KD(Adv. Sweep Attack), Warcry and Intimdiate to slow slow down the dmg given to your group, and heal when you can as it will add to your hate and bring the aggro to you

bascially you job is to slow down the enemies and and heal damage they do while you groups takes out the base(s)

warcry/inimidate/CoB for teh win!

what exactly does warcry do post cu? i've used it a few times but i can't seem to figure it out


pre cu, i just did the good ol' warcry, heal, intim

Always keep it applied. It's a -40 speed debuff now, so it's really incredible. That and intimidate give you plenty of time to beat some faces in

As for pvp, food up and give the jedi hell. I wasted a pre cu jedi with my pikeman the other day. He didn't like my pike pounding on him

what food are you using?

Same foods I use for my jedi.

Pikatta, Vegaparsine, blob candy, Booster blue, crispic, and spiced tea.Plus I was using Ruby Bliel and Stim D's. I also was fully doc buffed.

My template on my pikeman is:

Master Pike/0444 Swordsman/4004 Doc
