I'm currently a Trandoshan Master Pikeman, Master Brawler, TKMand Medic 0.4.3.0. (gives me a melee def of 170 and ranged def 115)

What I was looking at doing was dropping Medic to 0.2.1.0 or 0.0.2.0 and adding Sword 0.0.3.0 for the advanced armor break. (adds50 to melee def and 30 to ranged def)

Then I thought if I dropped all the way to Novice Medic I'd have enough points to add Novice Fencer.

(adds another 10 to melee def and 10 to ranged)

This would give me a Melee Def of 230 and ranged def of 155.

Do you guys think the extra defenses and specials will outweigh the loss of healing power?

Personally I go with the standard TKM/Master Pike and Doc but I've been thinking Doc 0/0/0/4 for the buffs as opposed to 4/0/0/0 for the heals.

Just my two cents

Well, my toon is a Master Brawler/TKM/MPike with swordsman 0/0/3/4 and novice medic. Using a +18 heal efficiency shirt I do great in PvE (Solo Gorax, Krayts, the Wagers etc) PvP I miss the added healing in a one on one fight simply because everything is either rifle or Jedi (and don't get me started on the fact that a MLS has about 140 accuracy against my 300+ defense and still hits almost all the time...)

But it is a fun template. If you want to give up a little combat power I would say drop to swordsman 0/0/3/2 and get medic 0/2/0/0 so that you have a second heal (bacta toss) to keep you going.
