When I first came into the game, I was pikeman and when i was a pikeman 0/3/3/2 I could take on a master brawler/master fencer and beat him 50% of the time. Why you say pikeman sucks? (really dont know)

I plan on coming back as rifleman/pikeman so would be good to know.

My experience in Pikeman (I've been a master for 4 months now) is that we're not that great in PvP, but our DoT's can really rock some people. I could just be a horrible PvPer - who knows. I know that as a TKM, I was a pretty dang good PvPer...but I like Pikeman because it's excellent for PvE.

I'm seriously thinking about dropping CH, tokeep and levelpikeman(I'm 4-2-2-2 now), to go with Rifleman. It's justso much fun. Perhaps I'll go CH on my other toon. ARGH, I hate these dilemmas.

mainly used basic attack so that he would spam his specials first, then when he was a bit beat up and i thought he would heal him self, I did a dizzy, sweep, warcry, peace, heal combo.. then I hit him with hit3's. He then was dead.

then again this was ebfore defence stacking was an issue, but stil I was not master and he was and hadmost ofcarbineer (if that helps any) and some scout.

I had that pikeman and some medic. (I was new he was a friend of mine and the other master fencer was a firend of his) i beat them both 50% of the time.

I can never to damage in pvp, especially against melee combatants. I think it has something to do with our massive damage spread on all of our weapons

You have CH AND Pikeman on the same toon? Ohh...Ouch...just..ouch.

PvE, Rifleman is amazing. Not such a great mix with Pikeman (unless you want it for the xtra +Block, and we all know how ~~wonderful~~ crappy block is....).

But, on the other hand, your light years ahead of a Jedi Knight, PvE-wise.
