Thread: My Way To Novice Pikeman-Or,Now the REAL grind starts...(Guide to brawling polearms)

Well,I started out as novice brawler on Corbantis. TKA or Commando i thought,but then I saw this twilek... He was wearing full comp armor and,a long vibro axe.+ that he was a Master Ranger,now how kool isnt that? I made my choice,pikeman and ranger. Bought myself a woodstaff,killed some durnis and has polearms 1. Then it was Metal Staff and nightspiders. I grouped with a droid to get that little extra xp,which I recommend. So,finally I made it up to Polearms 3,and bought myself a 375dam long vibro axe for 4k (!) speed 4.5. Now,it was vynocks. 293 xp for each vynock (grouped). After 2 days of middleclass grinding I was a Apprentice Pikeman. Now,it was ofcourse bagerasets. 365xp grouped,made about 3 per hour,got around 2.5k per lair and sum money (bought more of those long vibro axes 
) Today,I hit Novice Pikeman. Its now that I can begin to focus on scout (3242) and in a few weeks Im ranger! Anyway,best way for a half-newbie like me to get xp is ofcourse my missions,heres my list; Polearms 1 (woodstaff) durnis,Polearms 2 (metal staff) found some durnis and lair of vrelts. Heres one tip: DONT USE THE BASIC LANCE! Min damage is ridicoulus low,and you wont hit very often... So use ur well trusted metal staff up to Polearms 3 (Nightspiders,Naboo,remember to be in group) and then,for the money you have earned on those missions,buy yourself a long vibro axe and get it sliced (if you have the money) Pray for damage slice,and let a welltrusted Master Smuggler slice it...Now,go to Naboo,find a player city that you like,and run narglatch cub missions,remember to be in a group (non-ch pet or droid).

what if ur basic lance does 350 max damage/3.9 speed?

You necro'd a five-month old post to brag your lance was better and weren't even talking about the same type of lance?

actually during my hologrind i did it wood .. metal ..ect..
2nd time arround i took the old tk exp up approach... use an lva and bezerk ... got novice pike in 1 buffset killing out in the wilds..
