Lo fellow pike mates.
I'm a Master Pike for a week or so, i used to have rifleman as my combat profession but i decided to drop all my template for a new one.
There's one thing that is bothering me tho, i have my stats migrated cos i was a rifleman, this means i have 400 of health and action, now, one strange thing is happening to me, i've died a couple of times durinf PvE and i always get incaped cos of my action, i mean health and mind stays ok but my action drops to zero.
Is it me or Pike uses more action than health and mind for specials? Carbineer is also this way.
If this is correct can any one you give me an advice how to correct this problm? Any of you uses stats migrated for pike?
Thank you all.

I am assuming you are PVE unbuffed against mid level mobs, so I'll base my comments on that assumption.
Many of the polearms I have and use, have a fairly hefty action cost associated with any special attack. I generally use accarragm, and ahrisa. Recently, I discovered Garrmorl -a beverage similar in effect to accarragm and brandy, but which affects the health, strength, and constitution pools. I've been relying on these (small) buffs when I am not medically buffed, and find myself in a tight spot. Adding 400ish to health and it's secondaries, and the action stats, helps tremendously. I also powerboost, bringing my mind, action, and health all to around 1700 with the drinks in me. Not bad in most situations. I certainly notice a fair amount of drain on my action pool, but nothinga timely stim b can't handle.
Some things that may minimize the action drain:
1. The foods, of course
2. I look for HAM costs on looted pikes, just as I look at damage, DOTsand speed. I have a couple of looted pikes with HAM costs 50% of what crafted pikes run. Their other figures are not all that impressive (136 - 501 damage, spd 4.1VL after slice), but with HAM costs of 39/38/18, I can live with that. Those HAM costs are extremely low, and i make sure that is the first weapon I reach for when unbuffed. Many times, these low HAM pikes go very cheaply in auctions, because with the hyper buffs available now, HAM cost is a non issue. IMHO, thatwill change in a huge way with the CB.
3. You said that your stats are migrated for Rifles. I assume this means heavy mind in not just the primary pool, but also in the mind's secondaries. How is your quickness? It may be that it is quite low to allow greater focus and willpower. This may require a shift.
4. There are spices that can help out as well. If you wish to leave your mind strong for now, spice may be a decent stop gap.
Yesterday, I was yanked off my bike on the way back from the village, by a Rho Kwi Guardian. While that was trying to kill me, a Giant Baz Nitch wandered into the fray. I was unbuffed and dispatched both easily. The most notable drain was to my mind pool, but that is no surprise. With all those other foods in me, there is no way to pack on the mind stats the way you might when buffed by a doctor. With the right stat migration, the right foods, and a low HAM weapon, you should have little problem dealing with most things.
If you were in fact buffed, and fighting higher end Mobs, I wouldprobably point the finger at either an armor hole (wooks and trandos), a broken piece of armor, or the use of the "cheat suit."
I'm pretty tired posting this, I hope it was more coherent than I am
, and that you can find some useful information in all of this.
