Thread: So, how much did u spend to speed cap and how did u do it?

the title pretty much says it all im a doc/pikeman so i cant mtr brawler so im looking at 18+ points of polearm speed just looking at what kind of a commitment this is going to be

Well with doc/pikeman you have18 points left over i think so drop whatever you are using those points for (was 1,0,0,0 scout in my case) and get the +12 force sensitive melee speed tree , thenyou just need a couple of lower end tapes to cap on everything.

to cap out on pole speed it costed me about 5 mil the first time (like 4 months ago when not everyone and their mom was a pike, just me oryon and mesk) now costs about anywhere from 10 - 20 mil.

my template is doc 3440 fencer 4000 master pikeman i have 99 melee defence from the fencer/pike combo is that worth keeping or should i get rid of it for the force sensitive skills?

I spent 1.2 mil on a +9, and the rest I procurred myself. One of the few benefits of being a Pikeman for ages.

Back when Dark Jedi's on Dathomir and Dantooine use to drop +25 Sea's like nothing I kept myself
+25 Polearm Speed - CA
+25 Block - AA
+25 Polearm Accuracy - CA
SEA's were broken back then if anyone remembers so I deleted alot of SEA's I wish I hadn't
Threw them into a mabari belt, pretty nice, sucks I can't wear a psg, but I seem to manage.

I spent nothing, and I detest the notion that for this profession to be any good you need to be speed-capped.
I do however have a +11 armor attachment and several smaller clothing and armor attachments, all looted myself. They're just mostly useless to a wookiee.

He's got an exceptional 700+ strength health poison NS lance that he stacks with a fairly decent health fire, and then he switches to fencer and whacks you with a stun baton. So yeah, he can usually manage.
Anyway. I got my first +14 for a total of 800k from guildmates, and spend a million or so on a +3 to fully over-cap. Capping my accuracy was the expensive one....think that came to about 15 million.

not capped since ive been master pikeman for like a week, but im 5 speed away from being capped, im master brawler, and ive only spent 450k on tapes, the rest i looted (or got as gifts from friends). just waiting til more auctions pop up now

me personally, i have3 people that have contacted me on the forums about 2 +3's and a +5, i have FS melee speed, and almost master brawler, so i will only need +3 to cap with like >6.666666 pikes...since most arent over this i think that is as high as i will go..........

mastered brawler, grabbed that melee speed fs branch, snagged a +4 AA for 500k, and called it good

For those of you who were able to loot some good AA's and CA's, what is the best NPC for these drops? Any info would be appreciated.
