Far cry from the pre cu combat animation days.
Not a flame at all....It's just the two best melee animations in game pre cu was TKM and Pikes.
I would think since they had those animations already in place they could have easily converted it to the post cu era...

Pikeman did have the best animations...but TKM? Sorry...but red trails behind my hands is just stupid. If they got rid of them, then it would have looked awesome. I liked the animations themselves, but the trails just ruined it for me...
I still think Pikeman looks pretty good, just not as good as it did.

Well Pikeman now has red trails on Vibro lances and TK has white trails
Polearm Hit3 was an amazing animation....But Jedi's stole it

The single thing I missfrompre cu is combatanimation isreally slowfor melees. With the toolbar timers you cannot watch yourself in action less you want to miss a key combo to take down a hard foe. But again I am sure this has been highly debated here already.
Here is a great ingame movie from Starsider, take a look at the Python vs Slopi battle, this is what I am talking about for Pikeman combat !!, Schweet !!

All the melee animations are a bore now. About the only good animation is 1-handed Light Saber.

Have they put in more to the spin attack?
I like that animation...
...is it wrong i purposely use spin attack to watch the animation?

Haha. I don't think it's wrong =/
I preferred the pre-cu ones though.
