did a bit of testing, not even 1 block..

tka defence acuity and cob is bugged now as well

swordsmans cob and counterattck are working, while we didnt even block once since the patch.

If this isnt a major issue now, then what is?

I dunno, block and cob for pikemanseems to be working great for me. I ama master pikeman and when I activate cob I manage to block an insane amount of attacks as well as having the enemy miss mequite a bit resulting in a anywhere from 50-90% (depending on the level of the mob it seems). I also tested this against a master carbineer and she missed roughly 85-90% due to misses and blocks of her shots. Overall I was pretty impressed.

Compared against the TKA defensive acuity and unarmed cob (I am also a tkm), the pikeman one is much better. The TK/unarmed defensive abilities they added in seem to do absolutely nothing.

Granted, I have the advantage of having stacked melee and range defense mods that a straight pikeman doesn't have, but compared against at least the TKA defensive acuity and cob the pikeman version is superior.

TKM and Master Pike have the same CoB values, do they not? How is it that ours is better?
I'm glad you're having what sounds like a much better experience with the new stuff than most, especially against ranged. I have heard many brawlers saying that CoB doesn't work well with ranged. But there is something wrong with block.

Actually, the value for a non-master brawler tkm is +105 vs. the +115 for a master pikeman, but that's not the main reason the pikeman version of cob/block works better than the tka cob/defensive acuity. Right now there seems to be a problem with defensive acuity not working at all. Since that is a main component for unarmed cob, it has rendered that ability useless too.

Another thing I have noticed is the message it displays back to us when a successful block is made shows as a counterattack. If you are in a fight with another player they will see it properly as a block.

i think they got lazy and made us counterattack instead, doe same thing just different spam.

with full composite and no buffs on (all secondary attributes were at 1 I think) COB hit me pretty hard, if I am going to be in full armor I think I will not be using this unless fully buffed. Also I notice that it hit my mind harder than the other attributes, that could be me beingdillusional as well.

sort of - it shows up under thecodeword "counterattack"

AndI also have noticed significant numbers of 'counterattacks' as a master pikeman. COB seems to increase the number, but i havent bothered determining how much. im surprised by the moderate ham cost of COB. I havent tried using it buffed...has anyone? does the HAM cost become practicly negligible when buffed - this would be pretty sweet if so.
