Pikeman Archive

Hello everyone,

I've not posted here before but I've been working on Pikeman for a while now (no a holocron did NOT make me do it). MY character Nnod has finally completed his climb and is nowa master pikeman/master brawler on the Sunrunner server. I never play without buffs thanks to a tightly knit PA (figured I'd just get that out of the way I absolutely love pikeman. I can destroy almost anything on 2 legs in no time. Also, the warcry 2 skill is a real trip in fights against creatures. Knockdown and hit warcry 2... they stay down for 20 seconds. I spent the evening helping out my fellow PA mates work on various combat skills. I could run in KD/warcry a mob and watch as they did massive damage to it. Using a wooden staff to avoid stealing all the exp myself of course <wink>. It was a lot of fun for all of us.

Yes, block is busted... really wish that would get fixed. I get ripped up by TKA's in duels, and there is one particular swordsman that just has my number. But I spend most of my time in group PvE so losing in duels doesn't ruin things for me. I think we all know the problems fighting ranged attackers (burst run and hope you catch em before getting mind shot to deathI guess my largest problem with duels is that Pikeman is so much different when not buffed. 2 specials and I'm down 300 health or more. So I tend to only fight other buffed combatants.

So I guess my point is 1) Hello. 2) If you need training in Pikeman and are on the sunrunner server feel free to send Nnod a tell. and 3) lower our HAM costs

I'm on Tatoonie most of the time around bestine when i'm not hunting on Lok or Dathomir.
