There is no easy way, in fact that way (231 kills) seems like a way better process than I went through. I just took destroy missions and hunting missions and just buckled down for the long grind, btw novice isn't much better although you do get a decent special. I am currently stuck between novice and defense 1, any suggestions for me?

Sounds better than what I went through too. Try going in some large groups hunting kunga's on dant or something. Just stay about 5m away and they won't aggro on you.

Come on UnseenForce.....you should know better than to say they won't aggro you

As being one of the many myths that Pikeman seems to have a higher aggro rate..hahahaha....

The only way I was able to make MasterPikeman in 2 weeks was with CH. Novice to master in that short of time means only one thing, I obviously have little or no life. But to the point, I did ronto's and bantha for the early stages, carniviorous dewbacks for a long, long time. Then I moved on to giant sand beetles which were a pain in the ass to find a spawn. all that is down around wayfar. I would run around about 1km - 1.5km all around to find those beetles. For the remainder of pike I went to dath which was really fast. I think now though after seeing more of the universe Dantooine is a great place. Those big yellow herbivores, can't recall the name, are great xp and the females don't assist. Plus herbivore meat is good for advanced stims.

tat is my pike planet of choice.

Desert eopie for 800-1000 xp for 0/0/0/0

normal dewbacks, bantha, and ronto for one or two bars up

if you can do those easily then move up to the harder versions of each one.

right now I'm doing dragonette, carnivorous dew, and mt squill at 2/1/3/2

getting 2000-2500xp a pop and going up one bar about every day of 2-4hr play

I'm making a new Pikeman, since I end up deleting all my polearm 3-4 characters.....and this time, I wanna ask you guys what is the best place to get there?.......Right now im bleeding and bashing Mobs outside of Coronet....but they only yield 537 XP grouped.........that means 231 kills and Novice Pikeman.........that's boring and tedious....lol..

Oh gaaahhhh.

Running Rebel missions out of Anchorhead is awful... At least on Corbantis it was. The place is so small and since the place is teeming with greedy, greedy people...well... Missions went a little something like this.

"Your mission waypoint has been updated to the exact location." *30 seconds later* "You have received 1000 credits. It has been placed in your bank account."

Okay, so people did the missions for me. They're swell people, they REALLY ARE. GAH. FP is the most important thing and ramangajs;jas;bva

I usually get buffed up then head out to Talus and find some Totur Bulls. For whatever reason they're always around 3k, they don't decrease in xp based on skilllevel. With my LVA I can drop them in about 15 seconds. They usually spawn with regular Toturs worth around 2k per, depending on your level. They do group agro now (didn't used to), so a tank of some sort helps.

I most be doing something wrong here somewhere.. hehe.

I am 0/0/1/0 in pikeman, I had some help getting novice pike, but there is no way I can do it again. Hehe. So now I run destroy missions out of Coronet. I get about 100-400xp per kill depending on the mission. I can't buy doctor buffs because I am flat broke. I can't get in any good groups because I am a pikewoman and only 0/0/1/0. I also have no life and I have about 8+ hours to play a day. lol I have been reading about what you should do and the easiest, but it requires armor/buffs. What is the best way for someone that is broke has a lot of free time and gets incapped by piddly critters? Oh I am almost a master medic, all the money I make from the destroy missions goes right back into the harvesters so I really never lose or gain money. Unless I die and have to insure, which is.. well quite frequently. What am I doing wrong?

If you don't have a pet, find someone to group with on a harder planet that has a pet. I'm most of the way to Master CH so I just pull my Mauler out and have it tank for me. I mastered Swordsman doing that and will do so with Pikeman. I get almost 4k for a giant baz nitch. That's 6 per lair, plus 4k for the lair itself, that's almost 28k exp per lair plus the 11k credits for the mission. Not too bad.
