Thread: Guide to the Nightsister Energy Lance

I was being hassled last night by someone trying to buy my lance from me and I ended up getting some testing done on the particle effects. It seems that only other players can see the lightning effects after reequipping the lance and moving around, whereas the one holding the weapon can only see it after loading/logging...

I knew something was wrong with the one i had. I bought it at the Coronet bazaar for 6000credits and it looks like a normal lance and has a max damage of 171. guess i got screwed huh?

I killed and killed and killed and killed this damn Axkva Nightsister Queen, but she dont drops any Vibro Motors or Energy Lance Schematic, only 1k Credits and some Armor Enhancements or Heavy Duty...... Thats not fair. Its so easy to become this new Swordsman Weapon (Scythe) and this Scythe makes much more DMG as the Energy Lance.......... I think the Devs hate us.........

There is a difference between regular (looted) Nightsister lances and the Nightsister Energy Lance (schematic looted from a specific Nightsister). I'm thinking you bought one of the former.

yeah my group killed her about a week ago and guess what we got? heavy duty clasps and a regular nightsister lance lol....just my luck

Just an FYI to those of you still looking I have been trying 2 days a week since the schematic first appeared. It requires a lot of patients and work. I cant tell you how many times my group was ninha looted or that she only dropped credits. Good luck to you all

So last night I'm off to Dathomir gathering some BE sampling xp, poking stuff with needles here or there when I come up on some NS Spellweavers and Protectors, I say what the hell, spell weavers are supposed to be dropping some nice stuff so I start the pounding, a lot of spins, area attacks, hits, sweeps and dead NS later I managed to loot 10 heavy duty leathers (I hate that item, seriously hate it) and lo, one Protector goes down, I loot, then open inventory and there are four tiny vibro units spinning around, almost wet my pants before I read their label "Blade Vibro Units", I swear to God, Axkva and her minions are mocking my efforts in getting an NSEL

I think these are only going to get harder to get.
They screwed us over, by making the NS Vibro Unit, a required part in the upcoming Vibro Knucklers for TKM's...and I think we all know how many Tera Kasi masters are out there...just dying to go ahead and molest the spawn after reset. Personally, I encounter the same 2H Swordsman/Doc every day after reset....He runs right on down to the NS Queen Lady.....kills everything there....kills her...then fights his way out. (Having ran passed everything on the way down.)
