I'm sure Rank, Faction, and having the Imperial Badge of Merit along w/ Master Pikeman would be plenty to convince the Emporer we get some uniforms and forcepikes. Besides, I'm sure with that weapon we could open a can o whoop arse on anyone backtalkin us.

Okay, I'll stick around and play Neutral critic here...

Why should Pikemen get to play with Force Pikes? Isn't a Force Pike equipment for Force Sensitive characters? Weren't those red-hooded guys FS?

So why should a Pikeman automatically get some Force-related gear in a game where Jedis are supposed to be rare? Or am I totally misunderstanding what a Force Pike is? Also, are Force Pikes Imperial gear? If so, what happens to Rebel Pikemen?

And as for playing as the red-hooded guys, wouldn't equipping the suit mean that you're an Emperor's servant now, and that you'd have to stand guard over him? Do you really want to spend $15 per month to stand around the Emperor's Retreat watching the NPC Emperor do nothing? I only watched the movies, but all I ever saw out of those red guys was some primo loitering. I didn't see those guys running around in the desert. As far as i understood it, they were guards, not strike teams. They stood guard, and that was that. No adventuring. Is that what you really want?

No, a force pike has nothing to do with being Force-Sensitive. And it's rumored that some of the higher-ups in the Royal Guard ranks have gained some Force-Sensitivity from the Emperor, but when they start out no, they are not Force-Sensitive.
As for what they did the Royal Guard were the Emperor's best troops, trained in many forms of combat, they were used as guards or for important missions(such as killing Jedi).

Oh, and as far as I know Force Pikes are avilable to anyone with enough credits inStar Wars. But I could be wrong on that.

KevinKenobi, I think the Tantel Armor is modeled after Lando's outfit, the one he wore in ROTJ at Jabba's Palace and Barge.

Well said.

But personally I like the idea. But I don't think nowis the right time to do it. Perhaps in the future, we can have that, but for now, let's try to keep DEV's focus on the more important tasks-

Do you know what the Sovereign Protectors on Byss are (Dark Empire Comic)? These Sovereign Protectors are members of the red guard. Not as strong as the dark adepts with the force of course.

(I'm not sure, but i think Karnor Jax is also a Souvereign Protector. The could be one reason why he wearsa black/crimson armor.)
