Ok, well i agree that the thread did very little to actually answer questions, but im thinking about the royal guard issue.
Why exactly couldnt the royal guard suit be purchased by anyone once they have recieved colonel rank and are willing to spend some set amount of Fp? Surely colonel is high enough rank in the imperial ranks to become a "royal" guard? Just a suggestion.
Now, the next thing that TH posts here will be the question: "Now, what do you really want?"

Sounds like the same BS they always try to feed us. It is sad but I don't think TH speaks for the player community any more. I think he is now a puppet that is here to try to keep us off the DEVS backs....

How does this break continuity any more than people running around in stormtrooper armor? As we know, all stormtroopers are clones, so this doesn't make sense either. Would make much more sense for a Master Pikeman running around in a Royal Guard uniform than a Master Dancer running around in ST armor...
And I guess I misunderstood - TH answered all these questions in first-person and it doesn't seem any Dev input was gotten for them - I thought this was Q&A for the Dev team.
While it's nice to hear some response, I guess I just misunderstood what to expect.

I don't see how it would break continuity at ALL. By the time of ANH, Palepitine was fully in power and was openly the emperor that he was in ROTJ.

I have a bad feeling about the direction this game is going. Especially reading these answers. How is Pikeman a hybird class? It isn't combined with anything, it doesn't have any specials or abilities in it other than pike related.
Also, there's the whole "this game isn't about a certain class per se, it is about skills". What is that suppose to mean when the last 6 months it's been about how making the master box worth mastering the profession than just making it another box to gain. That says it IS about professions and not just skill boxes. If it was just about skill boxes, why even bother to seperate everything in professions. Then, if it is about skill boxes, why take skill stacking out? Sounds to me like that is basing the game on professions rather than skills.
