The spawn timer should be between 2 hours / 2 hours 15 minutes.
I've seen it spawn 3 times in the last2 trips down there over the past 4 or so days on Farstar.

No problem with the spawn on Tempest...did it last night, and a guy camping the spawn gave us a coutdown and within a few seconds of him saying the respawn was about to hit, the Acklay appeared...damn thing is easy to kill, too...my first time actually fighting it. Every other time I've been in the caves I've lacked the patience to wait for the spawn....

id like to second that, a guildie and i ran down there and killed it, was really surprised as there wasnt anyone else there when we got to the acklay. and what ubar lewt did we run away with i hear you asking, 1 interwoven bone armor segment schematic, great eh, starting bids of 21200 to cover the city to starport shuttle costs and buffs!!!

i did my ackley trial tonight and it spawned up just fine. i would deffinately send in a ticket.

The fact is I can't spell 
But no I was looking for the right thing..
I went there with a 3 hour buff I left with 10 minutes on it.

spawned ok for me on intrepid sunday morning....tho when i first arrived someone killed it while i was working my way down 
so, i left, went afk, got lunch, and came back in 2 hours and sure enough, was there

I got pretty ticked I got a nice size group to go there. We waited for 3 hours and nothing, everyone started leaving. Some people came in and I asked them very nicely if my friend and I could join them since I need credit for the trial and we were waiting there for 3 hours. They were very rude and said we were rebel and I would only became a Knight and I would kill their kind. Then they went on to say if I saluted the better side and become Imperial they would group us. Nice huh? So I did what any good person would do I helped heal them as much as I could and said have fun gnight.
So people can just be such jerks....It was a terrible night...

Next time you go down bring up the overhead map (ctrl+m) and zoom it fully out (ctrl + scroll mouse wheel) and keep an eye on the acklay spawn area.
Last time I went down there, we had got down as far as talking to the lady and heading back to get the pass key when acklay spawned. There was already people camping the cave, and due to delays with getting started by the time the acklay respawned 2 members of my group had lost their buffs and I personally only had about 7 minutes or so left to fight my way out with.
It is possible to solo the acklay so your best bet is to just keep an eye on its spawn area to see if it's killed while your working your way down and gauge how long you have till it spawns again and try and get buffs and be down there ready.

there is a funny acklay story located on the mouthbreathers website. unfortunately, the owner decided to move the link for his stories to his forum section and forgot to repost the stories there.
everyone pm snutwitty and tell him to get his crap together.

I'll try again I guess tonight, just sucks when its being camped. I dont' understand why everyone just can't group and get the credit together as a team. I see no issues myself but others seem to.
