tbh block doesnt block at all. its badly named.

it should mean you evade an attack (by blocking it), similar to counter attack and dodge. if anything counter attack is the skill that should half the dmg. or means the opponent takes double dmg next hit or sutmhing... anyway. imo block should block attacks. not just give sum crappy dmg reduction

I have +195 Block. Not sure what the cap is on it. But from what I can tell, it works damn good. I have some other Defenses that probably contribute but the only time I eve consider putting on a composite chest plate or boots is when things get really hairy.

Does it work? Hell yeah.

Block, Counterattack and Dodge are all hard-capped at +125. This was done specifically to stop stacking. Your skill mod window may say that you have in excess of +125 Block, but in reality, you are capped at +125.
